Dr. Charlotte Coyner felt a calling to pursue medicine, a decision deeply rooted in her family’s history—both her father and grandfather were physicians. With the support of her family, Dr. Coyner embraced this path, feeling it was her purpose in life. She completed her medical education at the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine and subsequently trained at Great Plains Family Medicine Residency in Oklahoma City. Upon completing residency, she joined Integris Health where she has been a dedicated family physician in NW OKC for the past 11 years.

Dr. Coyner finds great joy in caring for multiple generations within families. From helping children grow to supporting older adults through the challenges of aging, she believes in the importance of education in achieving a healthy and fulfilling life. Dr. Coyner has a special interest in psychiatry, has experience managing ADHD in adults, and is particularly fond of working with the geriatric population. She cares for patients aged two and up, providing comprehensive primary care services tailored to each stage of life.

Dr. Coyner is excited to be part of the Direct Primary Care model because it allows her to practice medicine with a focus on being patient-centered.
